Fab Lab (Ages 14-17)

Lab research development and engineering technology projects course. Students will utilize basic hand tools in design and fabrication projects. With training, students may also work with mills, lathes, welding, PCB circuit design, soldering, and/or 3-D plotting in project development. Basics of metal working machine tools and standard shop practices, with a special emphasis on shop safety, will be covered along with exploration into the fundamentals of turning, milling, broaching and sawing, and the abilities of conventional machine tools. Includes OSHA 10 Eligibility and lab work.
